Rejected Images
The Reason as to why both my front cover and contents pages were rejected was because they were both dull and not vibrant enough. They also looked very spaceous. The contents page looked messy and the front cover didn't pop enough. My main article looked too busy with all the images and the pull quotes needed more space around them.

Black and White
As you can see throughout my magazine I have changed almost
every image to black and white. I believe it makes my magazine look classy and elegant
with such ease.
Firstly I select the image of which I want to change the
contrast of.
Secondly I click on the black and white tool towards the
right of the screen which allows my image to turn black and white.
Thirdly you are able to change the contrast of the black and
white simply by moving the contrast icon up and down until you feel as if you
have the correct lighting.

Text wrapping
Firstly to create a ‘Pull quote’ indent I had to wrap the
text. The way in which I done this was by selected the text I wanted to change.
I selected the rectangle tool and drew around my text.
I then Copied and pasted my text into my already made
rectangle text box.
Once the text was within my box I then selected the path
tool which allowed me to ‘Delete’ The section of text I want to create myself a
‘Pull quote’ space.
As you can see by the final image it then allowed a section
of my text to be ‘Deleted’ to create space for my pull quote to fit into. I
then continued to do the same on the column opposite to create a clear rectangle
within the text. I believe that by using this approach rather than the space
bar method it allows more precision and looks more professional.
