In response to the first question, 65% of the
respondents were female, and 35% were male.

95% of people did not read the college magazine
o
The product evidently did not work and has
failed to reach its target audience.
·
The most popular colours chosen by the
respondents were Blue, Black, and White.
o
Possible backup colours are Red, Yellow and
Green.
·
85% of people say that they will spend between
nothing and 50p for the magazine
o
The price should not rise above 50p, however if
it were to gain popularity and sales increased, a possible price increase way
be viable.
·
70% said that they would want the magazine to be
produced monthly, or every half term.
o
This is a fair response, as if it were to be on
a more regular basis, the level or quality of content would be much lower.

50% of respondents said they would prefer that
the magazine be informal, whereas 40% believe it should be a mix of formal and
informal.
o
Though an informal magazine has a majority, it
is wise to cater to the other 40%, as they will make up a large part of sales.
A good plan would be to make it largely informal and to include a few serious
articles.

The main themes that the respondents chose were
Music (11), College Trips (9), and Free Gifts (7).
o
Other popular themes were Sport (7), Fashion
(7), and Technology (6).
·
50% of people wanted a picture of a student to
be on the front cover of the magazine, while 30% wanted it to be a Celebrity
and 30% wanted it to be Nature.
o
Maybe interchange between the three options each
month to appeal to more.
·
100% said they wanted a jobs page.
This shows that our target audience are all young looking for jobs.
